Editorial standards & content methodology
This page explains how FreeMockTest creates the practice questions and exam information you see on the site, how we check them, and how you can tell us when something is wrong. We publish this openly because you deserve to know how the material you study from is made.
Where our questions come from
We use three sources of practice content, and we are moving steadily from the third toward the first two:
- Previous-year questions (PYQs). Wherever official or widely-documented past papers exist, we build our practice sets from them. PYQs are the most reliable guide to a real exam’s pattern, difficulty and recurring topics.
- Subject-matter review. Questions and answer keys are checked by people with subject knowledge for the relevant exam before they are treated as verified.
- AI-assisted practice drafts (clearly labelled). For some exams we use AI tools to help draft additional practice questions in the exam’s style. These are a drafting aid, not a substitute for expertise — they are reviewed by a person, and we are actively replacing them with PYQ-based and expert-reviewed questions over time. We never present AI-drafted material as an official paper.
Content provenance labels
So you always know what you are practising from, we label sets by their basis:
- PYQ-based — built from previous-year questions.
- Expert-reviewed — authored or checked by a subject reviewer.
- AI-assisted practice — drafted with AI help and human-reviewed; being phased toward the labels above.
How we verify exam information
Exam patterns, eligibility, dates and recruitment details are summarised from official notifications and conducting-body websites. We link out to the official source on every page and ask you to confirm details there before you rely on them, because official information can change without notice. Job, admit-card and result entries that have not yet been verified against the official portal are marked as samples.
Accuracy & corrections policy
We want to fix mistakes quickly. If you spot a wrong answer, an outdated date, or anything inaccurate, tell us and we will review it. Genuine corrections to questions and keys are prioritised, because a wrong answer key actively harms your preparation.

Who reviews our content
Our content is prepared and reviewed by contributors with experience in Indian government-exam preparation. We are expanding our reviewer panel and will publish individual reviewer profiles and credentials here as we do. Our independence
FreeMockTest is an independent, free preparation resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the SSC, IBPS, RRB, UPSC, any State PSC, or any other government body or examination authority. Official recruitment, admit cards, results and answer keys are issued only by those official authorities.
